Rohill delivers TETRA to Poland’s largest container terminal
Rohill and its local partner IP Connect have delivered a TETRA system for DCT Gdansk in Poland. DCT Gdansk is the largest Polish container terminal and the only deep-water terminal in the Baltic region. The system architecture is based on two central nodes and was delivered in time.
DCT Gdansk announced a tender for the supply of a TETRA communications system in September 2016 and IP Connect’s proposal based on Rohill TetraNode has selected by the client. DCT Gdansk also ordered the software for the system administrator position, NodeView, and a dispatcher application - LDS Chameleon.
The supplied system is compliant with the ETSI technical specifications (EN 300 392, EN300 395, with extensions) and ensures communication between TETRA terminals from different manufacturers, including the radio equipment currently used within DCT Gdansk.
IP Connect Sp. z o.o. (previously Aksel-Net) is a Polish private professional radio network operating company. It is the local partner and authorised distributor of Rohill TetraNode TETRA infrastructure in Poland.
